The McCusker Centre for Citizenship at UWA was established in 2015 with a generous donation from the McCusker Charitable Foundation. The McCusker Centre for Citizenship is collaborating with students and the broader UWA community, not for profit and community organisations, government, and business to make a difference in our communities locally, nationally and globally.

Our purpose is to:

  • Create and foster community-minded thinkers and leaders
  • Inspire students and the UWA community, and the broader Western Australian community, to become active, life-long contributors to our local, regional and global communities – and in the process, encourage and support others to do likewise
  • Promote awareness about challenging social issues in our communities and the contribution citizens can make in addressing them

You can watch the short video about the McCusker Centre or find out more about the McCusker Centre for Citizenship on our website or Facebook page.
