Is there any government support for micro-credential fees?

Micro-credential fees are not government subsidised and are not eligible for the Higher Education Loan Program. Micro-credentials are fully individual-funded or organisation-funded professional development short courses.

However, there are selected exceptions to this. There are specific micro-credentials that have been developed with the support of the Australian Government's Micro-credentials Pilot in Higher Education. Thanks to a Micro-credentials Pilot in Higher Education grant, eligible domestic participants can register for free.
