When can I start a Higher Degree by Research e.g. PhD, Doctoral, MPhil or Masters by Research course?

UWA accepts applications to Higher Degree by Research courses at any time and there is no application fee.

 

The enrolment date or commencement date for a Higher Degree by Research course is permitted at any time excluding December and January.

 

There are some HDR courses such as the Doctor of Education and some Masters by Thesis and Coursework where commencement must align with the semester start date.
