Mature age entry - the Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT)

What courses can I do at UWA with the Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT)? I am an Australian domestic student.

If you're a domestic mature-aged student (aged 20 years or older on 1 March, for Semester 1 entry, or 1 August for Semester 2 entry), you can use the Special Tertiary Admissions Test (STAT) to enter the following undergraduate courses:

  • Bachelor of Arts
  • Bachelor of Biomedical Science*
  • Bachelor of Commerce*
  • Bachelor of Science*

*Note:  The Bachelor of Biomedical Science, Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Science require you to satisfy a mathematics prerequisite.  If you have not done this through your previous secondary study, you can satisfy the requirement through successfully completing a mathematics enabling course early in your study program. The enabling course is available without cost to you, but it must be completed in addition to your degree enrolment. It will not count towards your degree.
