The University of Western Australia provides a “one-off” airport pickup service for newly commencing international students arriving on campus for the first time.

To request your airport pickup service, you must have accepted your UWA offer, received your CoE and booked your flight to Perth and have a valid student visa.

How to book

The airport service is provided by Great Western Coach Tours.

Please send an email to bookings@greatwesterncoachtours.com.au to apply for the airport pickup service and do this five days before you arrive.

Before booking, it’s important to note that:

  • A “No Show” fee of AUD$80 applied if you have requested for airport pickup but fail to arrive on the scheduled flight or cancel the service.
  • Latest arrival date for undergraduate students is Friday 1 March 2024.

Eligibility:

  • Non-award Student Exchange and Study Abroad (SESA) students: this service is available for newly commencing undergraduate and postgraduate SESA students.
  • Full degree students: This service is available for undergraduate students (only) and postgraduate students travelling with immediate family (spouse/children).
Other family members are asked to undertake their own transport to accommodation.
