UWA foundation program explained

What is the UWA Foundation Program?

The UWA Foundation Program (UWAFP) is conducted exclusively by Taylors College Perth on UWA's Claremont Campus. The program has multiple start dates and students can choose courses that run from 30 weeks to 60 weeks. Successful completion guarantees you entry to an undergraduate degree at UWA (subject to quotas and degree requirements).

The UWAFP is equivalent to an Australian Year 12 qualification. The program provides a smooth transition to the university. Classes are in small groups, augmented by university-style lectures and individual timetabled tutorials. You will learn how to study independently, work in groups, become leaders, conduct research and deliver presentations - all the skills necessary for success at university.

You will also have access to the main library at UWA and you will be eligible to become members of the UWA Student Guild, allowing you to join many clubs and societies and providing the perfect opportunity to meet UWA students.
