Want to be an Engineer? Our Engineering Direct Pathway early offer might be for you. You simply need your mid-year report showing A or B grades for four WACE ATAR subjects or a predicted ATAR of 92.00 or higher. You’ll be offered a place at UWA and you can accept before your WACE exams. Your offer requires you to achieve an actual ATAR of 90.
A copy of your mid-year report showing A or B grades for four WACE ATAR subjects, including Physics, Mathematics Specialist, Mathematics Methods and Chemistry; or A signed letter from your Western Australian high school confirming your predicted ATAR of 92.00 or higher and enrolment in WACE Mathematics Methods ATAR or higher
Your WACE student number, this is also the number that you use to log in to TISC
Once TISC is open, you need to put UWA as your first preference
Am I eligible for an Engineering Direct Pathway early offer?
If you are studying for the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) or the International Baccalaureate (IB) in a Western Australian school with a predicted ATAR of 92.00 or higher, or if you can provide evidence of A or B grades for four WACE ATAR subjects including Physics, Mathematics Specialist, Mathematics Methods and Chemistry on your mid-year or end of year report, as well as meet our minimum English language requirement, you are eligible for an Engineering Direct Pathway early offer.
How do apply?
Obtain a letter from your school stating you have a predicted ATAR of 92.00 or higher, or have your mid-year report handy.

Choose UWA as your first preference when TISC preferences open.
When do I receive my offer?
All offers will be made prior to you sitting your 2017 WACE exams.
When do I need to accept my offer?
We recommend you accept your offer immediately however, the deadline is 10 December 2017.
What if I apply and I don’t achieve the 92.00 ATAR?

Am I eligible for an Engineering Scholarship?
To be eligible students must:
Be a domestic student
Have completed Year 12 in the year prior to commencement
Have achieved an ATAR (or equivalent) of at least 96
Have applied for a place at UWA, through TISC as their first preference and have nominated an Engineering Direct Pathway into the Master of Professional Engineering
How much is the scholarship?
It is $25,000 paid in five, yearly $5,000 instalments over the period of the Engineering Direct Pathway.
How do I apply for the scholarship?
If you are successful you will automatically receive the scholarship when you enrol in the Engineering Direct Pathway at UWA for Semester 1, 2018.
